"Caspel" at the 74th International Astronautical Congress...

150 companies from 36 countries are represented at the exhibition held in Baku on October 2 within the framework of the 74th International Astronautical Congress, one of which is "Caspel" company.

This event is the second congress held in our country. It was the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev who laid the foundation for the development of the space industry in Azerbaijan with a sense of pride. Thus, the International Astronautical Congress was held in our country for the first time in 1973.

10 years ago, Azerbaijan became a member of the world space club after successfully launching the first telecommunication satellite - "Azerspace-1" from the Kuru Cosmodrome in French Guiana (South America). Currently, there are three Azerbaijani satellites in orbit that fulfill different purposes: "Azerspace-1" (2013), "Azersky" (2014) and "Azerspace-2" (2018).

We are proud to note that the technical work of the International Astronautical Congress held in our country within the framework of ICT (construction of a structured cable network, IT infrastructure, provision of a wireless network, as well as the integration of the mentioned systems, etc.) was carried out by the "Caspel" company.

The speech of the founder of "SpaceX" company, Elon Musk, scheduled for the 4th day of the congress, was expected with great interest. In his last online speech, he talked about the innovations in the space field, the interest in this field in different countries of the world, as well as the future contributions of investment and scientific research.
